In a safe and comfortable bedroom in Norway, one of the safest countries in the world, Mari (8 years old) is unable to go to sleep. Night after night she lies awake. Mari doesn't feel safe. She´s worried about how the grown-ups are managing the world outside her bedroom window. She worries about the polar bears that are drowning because of climate change. She worries about children´s suffering:
"Why don't the grown-ups make sure that all children can go to school, have enough food to eat and live in a house with their families?" She can’t understand why grown-ups want to make war.
"Why can't they just be friends and resolve their issues? It can't be that hard, children do!
" "Mum, Can you make it possible for all to children speak up as one, and tell the adults what we think?" Can you do that mum?
A wish from one child to all children for a world where the young can speak up and bee heard about their hopes and dreams for å better future. It's about empathy, solidarity, and joy. -It's about
